Proplate is a platform designed for restaurant operators in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to manage their food delivery partners. System Architecture Overview
Proplate’s architecture is designed to be scalable, extensible, and reliable, using a modular microservice approach. Data flows from Partner APIs and Webhooks through NestJS middleware (MongoDB) to Django REST APIs (PostgreSQL), with Celery and Redis handling asynchronous tasks for real-time performance. The React 19 frontend, built with Tailwind, Radix UI, Zustand, and Recharts, delivers a modern, responsive interface. Hosted on AWS EC2 with NGINX and Gunicorn, Ballurh uses PostgreSQL (RDS) and MongoDB for storage, and GitHub Actions + Docker for automated CI/CD deployment. An OpenAI-powered AI layer adds smart insights, summaries, and suggestions throughout the platform.
